NELSON TRIP FOR HEATH AND I

Estelle was very unwell and had been moved to the hospital.  So Heath and I went up to be with her for a few days.  

We took his MR2 and Mike helped make sure all was well in the inner sanctum before we left...

Apparently quite rare, we stopped at Springs Junction for a bite to eat and lo! Another MR2!

We took pics and then.....

the owners appeared... and we spent ages talking with them, discussing  and comparing and asking...

It was fun for them as well as us!!

Arrived at Nelson.

I stayed close by the hospital in a motel so I could walk back and forth, and Heath stayed at Deanne and Gareth's.

Estelle was looking good here, but the next day she went downwards and was moved to the hospice.

It was about a week later that she passed on.

Back in Christchurch, the three musketeers, Marilyn, Ivy and myself, went out for a Christmas lunch.
