There was a massive black cloud in an arch right around us, and I know this photo doesn't do it justice, but it was like a funnel, funneling all it's energy down on the convention grounds! When we got there, many people, including old-timers from the area, said they had never experienced rain like this before.
Friends said it streamed into the whole back of the meeting shed like a river in one place.
It went by the next day. And the sun came out again!

A random poppy appeared and grew. I've never seen one so amazing.
It took about 10 days in the preparing, to open up... and then it gave one day of beauty,
and began to drop off!
