IN READINESS FOR SERIOUS IMPROVEMENTS

Mike has been buying some bits and pieces off Trade Me for some small projects around the place.

Some special bricks for borders... they lock together.

Harry kindly gave us some lovely stones for the pond area project.

Filling in the horrible ruts made by the mailman... and planting new grass seed......

On the way home one Sunday, came across Pea Straw for $5, so stopped and bought 4 bales.

and since then, Mike gibbed and sanded, 

gibbed and sanded....

installed power and power points.....

and then we bought carpet on Trademe...which was a sentimental journey in itself, as it is the same carpet I was raised playing on!

And Mike and Heath put the carpet down... and VIOLA!!!!!

I am now moving in all my sewing/writing/etc things.

Plus there is plenty of room for a couple of stretchers or mattresses should more than one son come home at the same time!!!
